2010 – Forget the resolutions… Plus some random stuff

I’m resolving nothing this year… nothing. I always think New Year’s resolutions are a waste of time – we all know what to do and should get on and just do it. So that’s it – nuff said.

A few random thoughts…

I think Twitter is a huge waste of time for the average person. That, plus people whose [...]

Balena on the hard!

Well… That was the season! Balena was taken out of the water today and put on her cradle for another winter. It will be April (at least) before she’s back in the water. There will have to be some maintenance done this season (ah the joys of owning a boat) and then we will, hopefully, [...]

We recently returned from a very special trip to Holland. I’m in the process of putting together the “photo books” but in the interim, This edition of Grist from the Mill gives a good overview of our trip.

Sticks and Stones

Luca’s birthday was looming and we wanted to do something special. What better than an extended boat trip?!

A new Mac, some “interesting” software (iWork) and a whole lot of frustration went into producing this [...]

Kiko ta Kiko

“Kiko” is the Papiamento word for “what.”

“Kika ta kiko” means “What’s going on” or “What’s happening” As usual, there is a lot happening at 228 Mill. Here’s the latest edition of Grist from the Mill

Where in the world is Tom

I thought I’d share a little bit about my personal travels in this issue of Grist from the Mill It’s very short – only 3 pages – Enjoy!

Summer time!… sort of.

We’ve been doing all kinds of things this summer… with all kinds of people!

Here’s the latest….

Grist From the Mill Summer 2008

Just so you know it’s 6 pages and about 2.5MB!

Mascha has a birthday

Just a very short note so share a picture or two of Mascha celebrating her birthday with long-time friend Manja and her son Merlintje (I hope I spell that correctly) both of whom arrived yesterday. They are off for a 5-day camping trip while Tom keeps the ship going.

A new edition of Grist from the [...]
